Struggling against the vine wrapped around him, Pleht realizes this may have been a mistake.
Pleht: Nrgh...
The plant is about to devour his head, with Pleht desperately trying to push it away as its maw opens.
Pleht: Nonono--
Brudil dives in, taking Pleht in her arc just as the plant tries to take a bite (with "SNAP! SFX). She has a visible bruise from the kick. She and Pleht slide along the ground (with "SCREEECH!" SFX), and they both get up, Brudil with her hands on Pleht's shoulders.
Brudil: Don't scare me like that!
Pleht stares blankly, or perhaps past her at the frustrated plant. He breaks her grip and makes a dash toward the plant again.
Brudil: HEY! What did I just say?!

Belated happy new year to you too! First time reply, but thought I’d let you know that I’ve been thoroughly enjoying your comic so far! I’m super curious as to all the intricacies of this world, and how Pleht and Brudil will be able to face them! Looking forward to how their adventures pan out! ^_^
