Like magic, the two rings are now linked, locking the plant's maw shut to its horror. Pleht wipes his brow as Brudil looks in awe.
Brudil: Ohhh...
She gently sets Pleht down, looking pensive.
Brudil: Y'know, you could've just told me the plan.
The Red Slugfolk is no longer dazed, and wraps her hand around the sword's hilt. Meanwhile, Pleht rubs his head, embarrassed, as Brudil listens sympathetically.
Pleht: Sorry about that... G-guess that would have made it easier...
The two look up at the plant.
Brudil: Still, I think you did pretty good.
Pleht. At least I solved one problem.
Red Slugfolk (off-panel): GRAAAH!
Brudil protectively puts an arm in front of Pleht, ready to fight.
