Geddon is carefully trying to climb on a wavy and unstable stem. Several thoughts are overlapping as he speaks.
Geddon: You will be all right/Let me see the wound/I know it is scary/Please calm down... Do not worry. I am here.
Ama, meanwhile, is scowling as she dangles from the plant's stem.
Ama: Enough of this!
She leaps down, sticking the landing as she glowers at Pleht and Brudil. However, Brudil is looking annoyed at her while Pleht turns, surprised, as he was helping Brudil up.
Ama: This... may have been an error.
Her arms lower as her eye scans for anything she could use to help her fight, but she is grabbed by a vine before anything can be done.
Ama: GAH!

68 -At Least She Stuck the Landing

As misguided as the Slugfolk are, they are tenacious. Ama here has been protecting her younger brother Geddon for about six years now.

Also, can I say this comic is a great example of eye tracking/placement being a worry anyone making a scene should look at?
