He turns to look at a painting of Duke Corpus, a man in a rose-colored cloak and hat, smugly looking down.
Pleht: From what I've read, this tower once belonged to Duke Lawrence Corpus. But he was slain fifty years ago...
Brudil: Yeah, he was a crazy tyrant who tried to take Everteeter. I think that attack lasted a day before Lady Fain got to him... he was an evil wizard, right?
Pleht: A necromancer, I think.
A beat as Pleht and Brudil look at each other.
Brudil starts running up the stairs, pulling a terrified Pleht with her.
